Hi Kathy!
Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Anyone who is unable to wait in a regular line for Rides and Attractions qualifies for the
Disability Access Service Card at Walt Disney World. When you first arrive in a Park, simply stop by
Guest Services to make your request. You will be give a return time for a
Ride or Attraction of your choice (based on current wait times.) After you are finished with your first Ride or Attraction, you can visit a kiosk located in different places throughout the Parks and receive a return time for a second choice. You can repeat this process throughout the day. One piece of advice: be sure to have your whole party with you at Guest Services when you request your Disability Access Service Card so they can accompany you on the Rides and Attractions. This way, you can enjoy the day together!
Last year, I broke my foot shortly before a planned trip to Walt Disney World so I have experienced this first hand. The entire process runs smoothly and is just one more way Disney meets the needs of every individual Guest. Don't you just love that?
Please come back if we can help you with any more planning tips or ideas.
Have a magical day!
