I am going to WDW in Sept. my daughter and I want to dine at the castle with Cinderella, I have the dinning package and I know you have to pay in advance how do they handle your reservation when you have the dinning plan.

We eat at Cinderella's castle every trip.  When you book your reservation say that you are on the dining plan, that way you don't have to put your credit card down to hold your spot.  When you get there you can still pay by cash or credit card.

I found it to be more economical to just pay cash for the meal and use the two table services meals somewhere else.  It all depends on your situation.  Our family eats at mostly sit down restaurants, so there is no fear of us having credits left over at the end of our trip.

Here's another tip:  Ask your waiter/waitress to take a picture of you and your daughter with the dining room in the background.  We always stand in front of the windows and end up looking washed out in the photo.

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
