Going to WDW Sept, 2018, 4 adults, 3 kids, ages 4, 4, 2. Need 2 rooms, trying to decide where to stay. Only 3 days, 4 nights. Would like something easy for the kids (will be doing 2 days at MK and 1 day at another park (not sure yet).

    Hi Pam,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Quick trips to the Walt Disney World Resort are so much fun! Given the short time of your stay, close proximity to the parks and multiple transportation options are a must.

I definitely suggest Disney's Contemporary Resort for two reasons, 1) you will have access to the resort monorail and 2) you can walk to Magic Kingdom. From Disney's Contemporary Resort, it is is about a 10 minute walk to Magic Kingdom. The path is quite easy to follow. The resort monorail will also take you to Magic Kingdom and to Epcot - you will transfer to the Epcot monorail via the Transportation and Ticket Center. At Disney's Contemporary Resort, we always dine at Chef Mickey's and California Grill.

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa also have great access to the resort monorail. On our last visit we stayed at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Our girls loved the pool areas and the restaurants. We had a fabulous dinner at 'Ohana and watched the Happily Ever After fireworks show while dining. We were mesmerized by the fire dancer at Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show

Pam, if you do stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort and budget is a concern; try one of the Garden View rooms in the Garden Wing. For us, they have always been more affordable. We request a first floor room to have a patio!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
