Hello there, Beth. Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by with your question.
I've been a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for years now and I can honestly say it is well worth the investment. Some of my favorite perks of the program, besides being able to visit the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks whenever I'd like, is the use of the Memory Maker for the entire year, complimentary theme park parking and discounts on stays, food and merchandise.
At this time, Beth, the sale of new Walt Disney World Annual Passes has been temporarily suspended. The program did not return to us with the opening of Walt Disney World last summer. I don't think you'll have to wait too much longer though. Currently, Guests with active annual passes, like myself, are being able to renew for next year. This tells me that the program is not going anywhere. I think they are using the halt of new sales to help with the capacity limitations. We are seeing things change every day at Walt Disney World as we Return to a World of Magic so keep your eyes out over on the
Disney Parks Blog for an announcement regarding the program.
Until then, you have two options for
theme park tickets. You can purchase a standard theme park ticket that allows entry into one Walt Disney World Theme Park per day. The other option is to purchase a park hopper ticket. Park hopping is where you can visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day. There isn't a bad choice but I am partial to park hopping!
Beth, I'm sorry I don't have better news for you right now but I have my fingers crossed that you'll be able to join the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder family very soon. If you have other questions, please feel free to come back and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Have a great day!
