We will be at WDW the second week in June 2009. Our flight arrives at midnight. Where could we take a nap before our room is available and the parks open?

Hi, Juanita!   I think the best option for you would be to book another night's hotel stay.    You can either add a night to your reservation if a room is available, or you can stay at a hotel near the airport.   There are some hotels by the airport are about a mile away and offer free transportation to and from the airport.   There is even a hotel right inside the airport.

If you want to keep your entire vacation on Disney property (probably your best solution,) I suggest calling Disney Reservations at (407)W-DISNEY and see what that first night would cost you.   I would try to book a room at a Value Resort and change rooms in the morning, it would be worth it for a good night's sleep and a hot shower in the morning!    For the extra money it will cost, it will be worth it so you can hit the ground running on your first day at Disney!    If you need to switch resorts after your fist night, Disney's baggage service can assist in getting your luggage to your new resort.

Good luck, and I hope this all works out for you!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
