We are going to WDW on Sat June 5th. Will Downtown Disney stil be "happening" on a Sun or should we pick another day/evening. We will be staying until Friday June 12th and have a loose schedule (ch. dinner at Animal Kingdom on Thurs). Thanks!

Downtown Disney is always a happening place, so rest assured that just because it is a Sunday, it will still be filled all sorts of sights, sounds, and magic.

We often in our planning leave a couple of open mornings that eventually get filled by sleeping in a bit and then heading to Downtown Disney to enjoy some serious shopping before the crowds get heavy. But we also like visiting in the evenings to have fun watching all the action.  Our sons have also always enjoyed the little water spray parks (there are two of them).  We usually grab a sandwich at the Earl of Sandwich and have a leisurely dinner while the kids gobble down their dinner and then run off to the "fountain."  With sitting outside, we can watch & hear them the entire time.   Of course, then they are hungry again so off to Goofy's Candy Shoppe for yet another treat!
