Do any of the WDW resorts offer an early check-in? We are arriving in Florida right before nap time and need a quiet space!

    Hi Shaun,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Nap times are important!

If you check the Terms and Conditions, you will see specific information on check-in times for resort hotels. Although standard check-in at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels is typically between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., we have often been able to check-in to our room before that time. We always do online check-in prior to arrival. On several occasions, we have received a text message that our room is ready before by noon. Yet on other occasions, we have waited until closer to 2:00 p.m. Room availability at any given time can vary. Cast members, however, have always done their best to accommodate our needs!

I suggest that you do online check-in prior to arrival. If your room is not ready when you arrive, there are lounge areas in the resort hotels. You may be able to find a quieter space while you wait. If you want to head to the parks, there are Baby Care Centers in the parks that do offer quiet spaces for you to take a break with little ones. When our girls were younger and still needed a nap, we always took a break from the parks in the afternoon. Inevitably, naptime was later than it should have been because we were so busy in the parks.

Shaun, I am sending pixie dust hoping that you can stick to that nap schedule!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
