I will be at WDW resorts the first week of June and need to decide between 2 parks (Animal Kingdon/Hollywood Studios) have a 13, 11, and 9 year old boys? Which park would be more interesting for this age group?

    Hello, Tanya,

I, too, have three sons!  And this is a tough question to answer because it is based on so many personal preferences.  I have one son who would hands-down pick the Disney's Animal Kingdom because Expedition Everest is his favorite ride in all of Walt Disney World. In contrast, one of my other sons would pick Disney's Hollywood Studios because Star Tours is his favorite attraction.

What I would encourage you to do is allow each of your children to visit the Attractions for each of the parks. You could then have them each write down the top 5 must-sees from the two parks.  From this, you'd have a list of 15 attractions. From the list, see which park's attractions come up the most. And my fingers are crossed that it will be a landslide of one park over another one!

If it makes a difference, Star Wars Weekend will be happening during the weekends of June 1, 2012, and June 8, 2012. And two of your sons would be able to be part of the Jedi Training Academy (sign up immediately when the park opens!). If your children like Star Wars, this may be the deciding factor in which park to visit.

Thank you for the question; please let us know if we can help again.
