How can I see which WDW resorts are going to be under construction during my stay in October 2020? I would like to make my booking decisions based off this.

Hi, John!  It's great to see you back here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm so glad to hEAR that you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.  I also think it's wonderful that you will be taking advantage of the many benefits that come along with staying right in the middle of the magic at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel

When you visit the webpage for a particular resort hotel, any upcoming construction or refurbishment projects are typically noted in red print at the top of the page.  For example, if you check the webpage for Disney's All-Star Music Resort, it currently states that the Calypso Pool will be closed for refurbishment from mid-September 2020 through mid-December 2020.  This is printed at the top of the page in red, and there is a link provided to see more details about this particular refurbishment project.

I spoke with a Cast Member who checked the list of upcoming refurbishment projects for me.  I was told that in addition to the pool refurbishment at Disney's All-Star Music Resort, the Big Blue Pool at Disney's Art of Animation Resort will also be closing for refurbishment in the fall of 2020.  There are also room refurbishments taking place at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge through December of 2020.  Of course, refurbishment schedules are always subject to change, but this should give you an idea of what will be happening at the various resort hotels in October.

I hope that you find this information helpful as you plan to "fall" into magic at the Walt Disney World Resort this autumn.  If you have any additional questions, please visit us again.  See ya real soon!
