Hi, Sharon!
You'll be happy to know that Disney Cruise Line provides the same great service of handling your luggage that you've become accustomed to when visiting Walt Disney World Resort.
With Onboard Airline Check-In, you'll be given instructions the night before debarkation. You'll enjoy the ease and convenience of not having to collect your luggage when you debark - checked luggage will be transported directly from the ship to your flight. You'll receive boarding passes and valet luggage tags on the last night of your cruise, along with a letter fully explaining the process. Tag your luggage and place it outside your stateroom, and it will magically meet you when you arrive at your destination! Disney takes care of all the details for you.
To take advantage of this service, guests must meet certain requirements and be booked on a domestic flight on a participating air carrier. You can sign up for Onboard Airline Check-In when you complete your Online Check-In on the Disney Cruise Line
website prior to your sail date. You can also sign up for this service when you check in at your departure port.
I know it seems like you have a long time to wait until your sail date! Don't worry - that gives you plenty of time to read, plan, and prepare for your voyage with Captain Mickey and his crew! Between now and then, please feel free to come back and visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any questions you think of before your vacation. We're happy to help you plan the most magical vacation ever. Let the vacation countdown begin!
Have a magical day - Diane W.
