When do WDW resort reservations open up for January/February 2020?

    Hi Stephanie,

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help with planning your upcoming vacation! With the super fun Epcot International Festival of the Arts going on and lower crowd levels, January and February are great months to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!

While you are able to make a room-only reservation beginning 499 days in advance, Disney Resort Hotel Packages historically have been available to book beginning mid-June of the year prior to traveling. So for you, if you'd like to make a room-only reservation now, you may certainly do so. If you'd like to book a package that includes theme park tickets and a Disney Dining Plan, you should be able to do that this June. If you'd like, you can always book a room-only reservation now and upgrade it to a package when those become available. In the meantime, there are lots of great planning videos to watch online to that will not only help you learn more about a Disney vacation, but also help build the anticipation and excitement!

This summer will also bring another important planning date for your trip. You'll be able to make dining reservations 180 days in advance, and since you'll be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll have the added benefit of being able to make reservations for the entire length of your stay, up to 10 days, at that 180-day point. Some Disney restaurants are quite popular and fill up rather early, so that extra planning window really is a great perk!

Please feel free to visit us again with any other questions that you have about your trip, Stephanie. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
