    We have a WDW resort package booked, and I want to upgrade myself to an annual pass (the extra cost pays for itself with the AP benefits - mainly photopass). Is this possible BEFORE we arrive from Australia, and can we change our pkg for a AP discount pkg?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for sending your question our way. I love being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, because it really does come with terrific special offers and perks, and it’s fun to be part of the club!

    Belinda, I think your best bet is to call Walt Disney World Guest Relations at (407) 939-5277, or find a local Authorized Disney Vacation Planner to assist you with your questions. Special offers can really vary in different part of the world, and I want to be sure you get the best information on how to proceed in a way that works best for your budget and your plans.

    Once you become a Passholder, make sure to read your Annual Passholder Benefits Guide. That booklet is full of details about all the magical benefits and ways to get the most out of your Annual Pass. The discounts on select dining, entertainment, and experiences are such great perks, and there’s sometimes extra pixie-dust to be found on the Passholder Extras website.

    I agree that the PhotoPass downloads are an amazing included benefit, and one of my very favorite parts of a Walt Disney World vacation. Be sure to ask your PhotoPass photographer if they have any available Magic Shots – it’s so much fun to find extra-special touches and surprises on those photos.  Say cheese!
