What is WDW resort cancelation policy? My daughter is having a baby around the time we have reservations.

Hello Sonya! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Congratulations on the upcoming addition of your Grand-Mouseketeer! As I continue to experience Walt Disney World Resort first-time experiences with my kids, I smile when I imagine a time when I will be able to relive them all again with my grandchildren

As far as vacation planning is concerned, cancelations depend on the type of reservations you made for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

The major aspect to note is that there are major differences between the cancellation policy for Room-Only Reservations and Magic Your Way Vacation Packages that include tickets, dining plans or any additional items beyond simply the Resort Hotel Room Reservations.

I usually refer to the posted terms and conditions whenever I am unsure about a future Walt Disney World Resort vacation package. It outline the dates by which cancelations must be requested in order to receive a full or partial refund, as well as when a refund will not be granted.

For Room-Only Reservations, cancelations for a full refund of any monies paid will be granted as long as they are requested at least 5 days before Check-In.

If you have any concerns or issues about your specific circumstance, you can always contact a Cast Member at (407)939-1936, to get your specific dates for cancelations depending on your specific Resort Hotel Reservations. Cancelations may be done by phone or through your My Disney Experience Account when still within your cancelation range.

    Good Luck!
