HI, we have our WDW reservations for early Aug. I was looking to get themed magic bands but the only options on the MyDisneyApp seem to be the generic colors. I know I can buy the themed ones commercially but how do I activate them with our specific info?

Hi Steve! Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I purchased themed MagicBands for my kiddos a couple of years ago and they were absolutely ecstatic! There are so many great choices! My daughter was thrilled to bring out her inner princess and my son kept the Dark Side at bay with his Star Wars themed MagicBand.

Linking your MagicBands is very easy to do on your My Disney Experience account. After you have signed in, select "MagicBands and Cards" and click on "Link." Then, select "MagicBands," enter the ID Number and hit "next." Once you have completed these steps, your MagicBand will be listed in your account and you can link it to the correct member of your traveling party.

I love that you are purchasing the specialty MagicBands. It's added pixie-dust to an already magical vacation! Nice!

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if you need any other information, tips or advice as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
