going to wdw 11/11. have read its important to get to park before opening. DD 20 months likes to sleep in. what should we do? really dont want to wake her early. but also dont want to ruin day at the park by missing the early morning.

Hi, Erin!   As a mom, I always go with whatever schedule works best for my kids.   While you might miss the lower crowds of early mornings, I would rather have a happy princess who is well rested!    When my kids were little, we did miss a lot of attractions with sleeping in or naps and early bedtimes.   But the time we spent in the parks was magical.  Nobody is going to have fun if the kids are cranky, that's for sure!

At this age, the vacations need to revolve around your kids and what works for them.  So let your little one sleep in!   Once you get to the parks, find the Baby Care Centers which will be a great place for diaper changes and feedings.   Strollers are available for rent or feel free to bring your own stroller from home.

Wishing your family a super WDW vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
