We are going to WDW 9/26-10/1 and have purchased the Deluxe Dining Plan for our family of four. My kids eat waaaay better than chicken nuggets and pizza. Do they have healthier options for kids? Or can they order smaller portions off the adult menu?

My kids are more adventurous eaters, too.  Here's my take: many of the table-service restaurants at Disney World offer a limited selection of relatively nutritious offerings.  Common options are grilled chicken breast, grilled steak, pasta with tomato sauce, and fish.  The trouble is that while you'll almost always find pizza and nuggets on the kids menus, there will usually only be one or two unique, healthier options available, so not all of the examples I listed will be available at every restaurant.  Furthermore, you will have a much more difficult time finding healthier options on the kids menus at the counter service restaurants.

Unfortunately, smaller size portions of typical (adult) menu items are not available.

I would suggest basing your reservations on restaurants that do have a menu that appeals to your tastes.  Many of Disney's restaurant menus can be accessed by simply typing in the name of the restaurant in the search bar and then clicking the highlighted menu link on the lower right side of the page.  Good luck!
