    Hi. We're WDW pros, but having difficulty planning our next trip because of my wife's recently diagnosed diverticulitis. We've eaten at all but the most recently opened restaurants in the parks and the resorts, but this is a toughie

    I'm so sorry to hear about your wife's recent diagnosis and as the mom to a little one with multiple food allergies, I know how challenging it can be to travel while you are accommodating a special diet. I'm happy to tell you that the Chefs and Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort have always done an incredible job making sure that my son has safe and tasty meals with the rest our family so he never has to feel left out of during a dining experience!

    Did you know that Walt Disney World Resort has an entire team dedicated to helping Guests with special diets plan their Walt Disney World Resort vacation? The Special Diets Team can answer any questions you have about dining at Walt Disney World Resort with your wife's special diet to help you feel confident and prepared, allowing you to have another fantastic vacation. So I recommend that you email the Special Diets Team directly at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com with information about your wife's dietary requirements and any questions you have about your upcoming trip. They will be able to answer your questions and give you information about the restaurants that will be able to best accommodate your wife's needs!

    I remember how overwhelming it was when planning our first trip with my son's special dietary needs, but we have since been able to celebrate many magical vacations while safely accommodating his needs. Hopefully our story will provide you and your family some hope for your next trip!
