When does WDW post their holiday pricing for meals with characters and menu prices for non character meals? Looking to budget using the DDP 12/22-12/30 at AOA. Trying to decide when to use DDP vs paying out of pocket. Thanks a bunch:)

    Hi Connie!

You won't find pricing for dining at Walt Disney World will change much over the holidays. The pricing for the Disney Dining Plan itself does fluctuate a little bit with the different vacation 'seasons' however if you're already all booked for your trip, your pricing on the Dining Plan will already have been included for you.

Deciding which meals to use your Dining Plan for and which ones to pay for out of pocket, really does depend on the restaurants you've chosen to dine at. Most Character Meal dining prices are listed right on the Disney Dining pages within the Walt Disney World site (lower price being child price and higher price being adult - or varying from breakfast to dinner prices). For any pricing that you don't see readily available on the site, try taking a visit to the allearsnet.com website. It's a non-Disney affiliated, Disney Fan Site which works closely with Walt Disney World to continually update their information and keep it current. It's a great place to check out detailed menus and pricing for dining all around 'the World!'

Choose the highest priced, a la carte meals and the all-in-one priced buffet-style Character meals, in particular at dinner. If you've already booked your meals and would like some guidance in choosing which ones to use your dining plan for, I'd be happy to help you out if you'd like to message me again with your options!

Since your Disney Dining Plan is a pool of credits, you can make your decision day by day and inform your server at each meal whether you'd like to use the Dining Plan or charge to your Resort Room.

Using a bit of strategy to get the best value out of your Disney Dining Plan is a great plan and I'd be happy to assist you further should you wish.

Wishing you a simply Magical time as you begin planning out the details of your Walt Disney World vacation Connie!
