I am going to WDW on 8/14-20th. I have plans for my 7 yr. old daughter but I am struggling to find fun stuff to do with my 9 yr old son like where to eat and to do. WHat would you suggest?

    Hello Dyanne,

As the Mom of a soon-to-be eight-year-old, I've always said it's easier to plan vacations around little girls! But now with nothing but nephews, I've come to appreciate how wonderful it is to have strong, protective boys in the family!

I'm not sure what your son thinks is "cool" at this moment, but hopefully together, you and I can come up with one or two things that he will think is out of this world! Have you considered:
    • Star Wars Training Academy? And with Star Tours-The Adventures Continues launch this month, there's sure to be a lot of excitement at Hollywood Studios!
    • Getting a "new" do at Harmony Barber Shop? Boys can get a hair cut or have hidden Mickey's put in their hair with colored gels. You can call 407-WDW-PLAY to reserve a spot.
    • T-Rex for a roarin' good meal?
    • The Pirates League? A Shipmate can make sure he's in tip-top shape for the Seven Seas!
Hope this helps. No matter what you choose, I hope your son has a fabulous time at Disney!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
