Never been to wdw. We're planning on going in June 2015. Which resort would you recommend for 3 kids, 14, 8, &9 years old.

Hi Angela! How exciting to be planning a fun summer vacation to Walt Disney World with your family. I'm sure everyone is ready to go right now!

One of the best things about the Walt Disney World Resort hotels is that there's something for every travel taste, style and budget. For instance, you can be in the center of all the action at one of the Magic Kingdom area hotels, like Disney's Contemporary Resort. It's a short walk or monorail ride to the Magic Kingdom, and the kids will love the added cool factor of the monorail going right through it!

If cooling off at your resort hotel is on the agenda and a splash-tastic pool is what you're looking for, try Disney's Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts, home to the amazing Stormalong Bay pool area.

Another great choice, and one of my absolute favorite resort hotels, is Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. It's in the Moderate category, so it's a little less pricey than the others, but it still boasts a wonderful pool, a stretch of sand to sink your toes into, a large food court with some really tasty morsels, and a nice sit-down restaurant.

Those are some of my favorites, Angela, but you can pop over to the Explore Resort Hotels page and find the perfect fit for your family. Please let us know if we can offer more help in planning your summer fun vacation. Hope you have a great time!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
