Hi Lisa,
Christmas time at Walt Disney World is magical! You will find that the decorations appear at Magic Kingdom almost overnight after the final
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season. Usually, the first
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is about a week later.
The decorations go up gradually at the other parks and resorts over the next couple of weeks and are usually fully in place by the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Holidays Around the World begins at Epcot on the day after Thanksgiving, and the
Holidays at Disney Springs celebration also begins in November.
My family loves to spend part of a day touring the decorations at the resorts. The tree at Wilderness Lodge is my favorite, but the one at Animal Kingdom Lodge is a close second. And we never miss a visit to the Gingerbread House in the lobby of the Grand Floridian.
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa. Please let us know if we can help in any way as you make your plans. Enjoy!
