    Hello - We are going to be at WDW in the parks from 8/25/17 to 8/28/17. AK closes every night at 7. Will we be able to see Tree of Life Awakenings and Rivers of Light?

    Hi, Cheryl!

    While park hours are posted 6 months out, the hours are subject to change. With all of the excitement happening in Disney's Animal Kingdom, I would guess their park hours will be extended until past 7:00pm.

    What exactly is new at Disney's Animal Kingdom you ask? Well that is a great question, Cheryl! As you mentioned, there is Rivers of Light. I simply cannot wait to see this much anticipated nighttime spectacular! You may want to reserve a Rivers of Light dining package that includes a meal either at Tusker House or Tiffins, then premium seating for the show.

    And the super big news of the summer will be the opening of Pandora - The World of Avatar. Keep checking the website and the Disney Parks Blog for updates. This has been years in the making and is certain to be truly amazing.
