    Does WDW do parent swap? I have a 3 year old who probably won’t do all of the rides. How does it work?

    Hi Laura! The Walt Disney World Resort wants every Guest to experience the magic of their rides and attractions! Sometimes our littlest Mouseketeers might not be able to ride certain attractions due to either height requirements (or perhaps their hesitation) for certain attractions. No worries! That is where Rider Switch can be used!

    Rider Switch is available in all four Disney Parks! Rider Switch allows one adult to wait with the little Mouseketeer while the other adult enjoys the attraction. When the other adult returns from riding the attraction, the adult who had waited with the little Mouseketeer can take their turn on the attraction!

    When you’ve identified the attraction(s) that you want to ride, be sure to approach a Cast Member to verify that the attraction offers Rider Switch. You can find a list of Rider Switch attractions linked here for you!

    Here is a PRO TIP for you! One of the things that I really like about Rider Switch at the Walt Disney World Resort is that the person who originally waited with the child (while others rode the attraction) can select one additional person to experience the ride with them (even if that person was part of the original group to experience the ride). That way nobody has to ride alone!
