Does WDW still have paper maps or is the only option the app

Hello Tammy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Even though I've been lucky enough to have visited the Theme Parks at Walt Disney World Resort many times, I still like to pick up a complimentary paper map which are generally available from close-by each Theme Park entrance and also from select merchandise locations dotted around the Parks.
I enjoy using the traditional paper maps as not only do they assist me in successfully navigating, but also sometimes even help discover newly added details or Attractions.
Plus I think paper maps make great souvenirs which can be incorporated into scrap-book projects or even made into collage style pictures, place mats or coasters.
Having said that, I'm also a great fan of the very magical My Disney Experience Mobile app!  My favourite things about the app are that it's super easy to check the current Attraction wait times, find the nearest bathroom and best of all, I absolutely love the handy route planner.
In addition it's also possible to check out the whole of Walt Disney World Resort via this Maps link and I also thought you may find this Navigating the Disney Parks - Frequently Asked Question to be another great planning resource.
So it has to be said that a happy combination of both paper maps and mobile apps works really well for me!
Wishing you a magical upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
    Have a great Disney day.
