Heather from TN Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We will be at WDW when the Oscars air on March 10, 2024. Are there any watch parties or Oscar-themed activities or events? It would be so fun to watch the Oscars at Hollywood Studios!

Quiet on set! We all need to welcome Heather to planDisney and give her question the attention it deserves. Lights, camera, action!

I think the Oscar for Best Question of the Year should absolutely go to you! You can probably tell I'm a fan of all things Disney, but I'm also a fan of all things movies too. I've always been enamored with films and television and even have a pass at my local theater to see up to 3 movies a week! Great stories, whether they are books, television series, or movies, are a true passion of mine and I completely understand your need to celebrate the Oscars at the resort.

While themed activities have not yet been announced for this year, last year, Disney's Hollywood Studios got into the Oscar celebration. ABC Commissary had some artwork inspired by the Oscars and a specialty treat to celebrate. There was also a specialty popcorn blend at some of the popcorn carts around the park. And Disney Springs got in on the action too! They had a special photo wall to show off your love of the biggest movie event of the year. Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements on whether there will be any special offerings for 2024.

Regardless of specialty treats or photo opportunities, Disney's Hollywood Studios is the perfect place to celebrate your love for the movies. Why not add a little sparkle to your outfit for the day and have a photo shoot down Hollywood Boulevard or, better yet, in front of Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway? You may even want to pose with some of the handprints in front of this attraction pretending you're getting your own celebrity handprint. I mean, everyone is a star for the day at this special park, so why not run with it? There are so many of these unique photo opportunities that you could easily find some special locations that bring out the Hollywood star inside of you. Oh, and don't forget to walk the red carpet and Meet Disney Stars at Red Carpet Dreams!

And before you settle into your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room to watch the ceremony, treat yourself to the ultimate in Hollywood glamor with a dinner at The Hollywood Brown Derby, where the delicious food offerings are the star. After all, the Our Famous Cobb Salad and Grapefruit Cake are the ultimate tribute to the Hollywood actors who made these dishes famous at the original location in California!

Heather, I wish you a wonderful vacation and a star-studded celebration of all things movies. And fingers crossed that the Walt Disney Company wins many, if not all, of their impressive 20 nominations this year! If you have any other questions, please reach out directly to me.

It's kind of fun to do the impossible,
    Matt
