Does WDW offer any options to people requiring oxygen ? Are oxygen canisters allowed in the resorts and parks ? Is there a vendor list available that might supply oxygen supplies to guests ?

Hello Gary! Walt Disney World certainly attempts to make every guest have a magical visit no matter what their restrictions might be. Oxygen tanks are allowed in the parks as well as the resorts and it is best to consult with your local physician about the best type to use for this kind of vacation.

I also suggest you go over some of the questions regarding Ride Restrictions for the parks. Depending on the equipment that is used some attractions might not be accessible with oxygen. This includes such rides such as Rock n Roller Coaster which goes upside down or possibly Soarin which cannot have anything that might fall (including shoes). If the guest can ride without the oxygen for short periods of time then this would work for both of these.

Be sure and bring an extra tank or supply of oxygen with you when you head to the parks. Check in with the First Aid Stations where they can store this for you during the day. Please don't forget to retrieve it before leaving the park for the day.

It is best to check with your local caregiver service for the oxygen. Many times they have the best information on locating services around the country that they work closely with. Disney does not offer a list of such service so it is best to start with your trusted company at home and go from there.
