Does WDW still offer DAS? If so how do I go about adding it to my disney vacation?

Hi there, Chris, and welcome to planDisney!

The countdown to your vacation is officially on! I hope that when you visit in September, you plan a day to enjoy the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival (so many foods to sample from around the globe!) or attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park (dress up as your favorite character and do some adult trick-or-treating inside the park). And, Chris, I have fantastic news about how to maximize your time on your theme park days at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

The Disability Access Service (DAS) is very much still available at Walt Disney World Resort. It's a pretty nifty system for those who find it difficult to wait in extended attraction queues. It gives qualifying Guests access to shorter queues called Lightning Lanes

Here are the two ways that you can potentially add the DAS accommodations to your vacation:
    1) Virtual Pre-Registration: I strongly recommend that you complete a online pre-registration DAS Advance using a live video chat feature to see if you qualify for DAS. The best part? You may begin this process 2-30 days before your arrival to Walt Disney World. During the video call, a Cast Member will determine your eligibility. Then, they will help you book up to two (2) one-hour return windows for theme park attractions' Lightning Lane use.

    2) In-Person at Guest Services: You can register for DAS on the same day of your first theme park visit. Simply visit Guest Services in person at the theme parks' entrances. A Cast Member will help determine your eligibility and set you up for your first Lightning Lane return time of the day.

Chris, if you qualify for DAS, it is good to use for your entire visit (up to 60 days). It will include you and up to five additional party members, too. I love that!

AN EXTRA GEM: Using the My Disney Experience App's DAS Self-Selection Tool, you can select your own attraction return times. And if you'd rather have someone else make the selections, you can ask one of the Cast Members at the blue Guest Experience Team umbrellas around each theme park.

I hope that you have an amazing vacation, Chris! If you have any other questions, feel free to give us a holler here at planDisney.

    Magic always,
