    We will be @ WDW 10/9-10/15/11,staying off property. My mom needs an elect. scooter& we already have resv.w/Walker Mobility but have found out our resort shuttle can't transport her. If we rent from Disney, what is possibility we won't get one upon arr

    Hi Sheri!

        Walker Mobility is the best - too bad you won't have the chance to rent from them!  However, I am so glad that you found out about your resort's shuttle restrictions - that could have been a nightmare!  I think that you should be just fine renting an Electronic Convenience Vehicle directly from Disney World.  I would arrive early and reserve one as soon as you possibly can.  Sadly, while wheelchairs can be rented for the entire length of your stay, ECVs cannot.  The good news is that you are visiting during a time that has historically lighter crowds.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you - have a wonderful vacation!
