We are going to WDW in October, and have purchased tickets to Mickey's Scary Halloween Party. My question is, while at the party, can we go on any of the rides while there?

Boo to you, Carolyn! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a spook-tacular addition  to your vacation plans. My girls do not think it has actually been Halloween until they have gone trick-or-treating through Magic Kingdom Park. There are so many lively activities during this party - even some not-so-lively appearances from the great beyond. From the shows on the Cinderella Castle stage to character meet and greets to party-exclusive treats to be enjoyed, you are sure to find plenty of ghoulish fun to fill your evening.

As if all of this was not enough, there are lots of attractions that will be open during the party. Many guest favorites are usually open - Peter Pan's Flight, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Space Mountain to name a few. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as the first party of the year nears, as they usually share more information about party happenings. FastPass+ is not offered during the party hours, but I have never really found it to be necessary. With so many party-specific shows and events happening, the wait times for attractions tend to be a bit lower.

I hope you have an evening full of devilishly fun delights at Magic Kingdom Park! Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your trip to Walt Disney World Resort!
