    We are going to WDW in October 2016. I like to plan what we will be doing. When will the Extra Magic Hours and/or the schedule of events be released?

    Hello There Joe,

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Extra Magic Hours are one of my favorite perks of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. It's a great way to shop and ride Attractions at the Theme Parks without the usual crowd level. 

    Based on what I have observed, Extra Magic Hours and Events are usually posted about six (6) months in advance. This time frame allows Guests to make Reservations for Dining and other activities when the 180 day Reservation window opens up. That said, I have seen Park Hours change at three to four months before my visits so, as the date of your visit approaches be sure to double check the Hours and allow for some flexibility in your plans.
