Hi We will be at WDW October 30-November 4 Will we see Christmas decorations during this time Thank you

Howdy, Lisa, and welcome back to planDisney. Thanks for sending your question my way!

I'm SO excited to hear you'll be visiting Walt Disney World during such a special time. Whether you're celebrating Halloween or Christmas (or in your case, both!), the holidays in Disney World are always extra magical! Like our friend Jack Skellington, I'm as big a fan of Christmas cheer as I am of Halloween hijinks. So I'm absolutely thrilled to help answer your question today!

When you arrive in Disney World at the end of October, you'll be greeted with festive fall flavors and plenty of autumn decor. Best of all, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be in full swing at Magic Kingdom! In case you missed it, Halloween night is the last hurrah for this spooktacular soiree, which features trick-or-treating, party-exclusive snacks, and enchanting entertainment (like my favorite, Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade!). After a season full of frightful fun, it's the perfect sendoff to those 999 happy haunts (until you "hurry back, hurry back!" next year, that is!).

Now for the absolutely incredible part. In a transformation only Disney magic could achieve, Magic Kingdom (typically) transitions from holiday spirits to holiday spirit overnight on Halloween! A few years ago, I watched a Disney+ documentary called Decorating Disney: Holiday Magic, which I highly recommend if you're curious about how they make the magic happen. Thanks to some seriously amazing Disney Cast Members, you're more than likely to find a gigantic Christmas tree on Main Street U.S.A. by morning on November 1st!

Lisa, Main Street U.S.A. is always the main attraction for my family during the holidays. The decorations are just so festive and exciting to see! Of course, Disney World also features plenty of other holiday offerings, like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney Jollywood Nights, and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Unfortunately, you'll be a little too early for these experiences. But if you keep your eyes peeled, you may see additional Christmas decorations going up in other parks, Disney Springs, and Disney Resorts Collection hotels at the beginning of November.

I hope this helps, Lisa, and that all the beautiful decorations have you singing, "What's this? What's this?" on your upcoming stay. If you have any other questions as you plot your big adventure, feel free to write me directly. I'm always happy to help!

    Hurry back,

    Allison
