We are going to be at WDW October 22nd and have never been to MNSSHP. We have a dinner reservation at 5:30. Can we leave to grab something to eat then reenter the party?

    Hey Fred!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite events at Walt Disney World. Each year, it keeps getting better with new surprises and happenings. I'm literally counting down the days until I'm going this year!

Great question about the re-entry issues. Even if you planned to hang out all day at the Magic Kingdom, you'd still have to exit the park and re-enter with your tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at around 7:00pm (when the event officially starts).

So, you should be in good shape if you need to duck out and grab some dinner at 5:30.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

Try not to fill up too much at dinner. Even though there will be a whole bunch of trick-or-treating going on (with over 200 tons of candy to be handed out!), I have a ritual of enjoying a Nutella and fresh fruit waffle from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Liberty Square during Mickey's Not Scary Halloween Party.

Actually, I need to come clean....

I have a ritual of enjoying a Nutella and fresh fruit waffle pretty much every time I visit the Magic Kingdom.

I think they taste extra special to me during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party because it was during one of those events that I had my first one. (It's kind of like I'm celebrating an anniversary!)

I hope that helps! Feel free to write back if you should have any other questions and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
