We are going to be at WDW in October and have the DDP for our two teenage sons. They can be picky eaters at times. My question is, if they do not like any of the adult entree options, can they choose off the children's menu? Are there larger portions?

    Hi Deborah,

This is up to the discretion of cast members at the restaurant where you are dining.  However, I have never run into any problems ordering an adult sized portion of an entree on the children's menu.  In my experience, cast members have always been extremely accommodating.  They know that kids (and adults) can be finicky eaters, and they do their best to make sure everyone has a good experience.

Also, if you dine at a buffet restaurant, you can sample everything.  I've found that this is the perfect way to make sure my kids get to eat what they like while discovering new foods.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
