Hello Amy, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It is always great to help a fellow Buckeye with some vacation planning tips.
I am happy to let you know that you can use your tickets to visit any theme park you wish during the day. You are not required to visit the Magic Kingdom on the day you attend the party. You can spend the morning at the Animal Kingdom and head on over to the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m to get ready for the party.
You will have a hauntingly good time at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The spirits require guests to purchase a special ticket to be in their presence. There are a limited number of tickets available for each event. I would recommend purchasing your tickets online or as soon as possible. You do not want to miss out on the spooktacular fun in store for you. Your evening will be filled with special character interactions, the Boo-To-You Parade, Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show, and Trick-or-Treating throughout the park. You definitely will want to sample the special eats and treats available along with exclusive party merchandise. Adults can get in on the fun by dressing up too. You may want to double check
the official Theme Park Costuming Guidelines for adult costumes. There are also a number of new experiences to try this year. In addition to the select list of rides and attractions available, you will not want to miss the search for "Gunpowder Pete" on the
Pirates of the Caribbean. Keep in mind that availability of rides and entertainment are subject to change. It will be a night of ghoulish fun, just beware of hitchhiking ghosts when you leave the party.
Happy Halloween,
Andrea
