Moms: WDW in Oct. My wife and kids. Aged 11, 9, 2 and inf. 6th trip to Disney. Know it well. Looking for something different. Made res for cruise during Illuminations fire works at Epcot. Will it be too loud? Should we change it to Wishes at MK?

Hi Darren!  With two younger children you might need to consider the noise level for the Illuminations cruise. Although I have taken my grandson on this since he was 3 1/2 months old and he has never not enjoyed it I can understand for some children how it could be a bit too much.  You are definitely closer to the action on this cruise and you can even feel the heat from the fires in the middle of the lake.  With the Wishes cruises you are further away and on the water so the noise is not bad at all.  It might be worth trying to change until the youngest is a bit older.

There is also a great pirates fireworks cruise available that your children might enjoy.  Please click HERE to read the description of this fun adventure.  The Magic Kingdom has also extended their dessert parties.  This is a huge smorgasbord of wonderful sweet delights where you can also watch the fireworks.  Please click HERE to read more about this option.
