We are going to WDW Oct 20-26 2013. Can you tell me what the real difference is between photo pass CD and photo pass +? What dining locations, attactractions and experiences are included? Trying to determine what is best value for my trip.

    Hi there Kristen,

Here's how PhotoPass works:  When you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, you will notice photographers set up in in the parks and select resorts.  They are there to capture your family photos and these images will be scanned onto your PhotoPass card.  If you purchase a PhotoPass CD, it will contain all of these images and you can choose to download them or print them at home once you receive the cd.

PhotoPass+ is a little more all inclusive, as this package includes a Photo CD that will not only contain those images, but your on-attraction photos and dining packages as well.

I happen to think PhotoPass+ is a great value if you plan to dine at locations that offer "for purchase" photo packages as these packages generally range in price from $15 to $20 out of pocket.  The PhotoPass CD is also great, but will only contain those images that are captured in the parks and resorts by PhotoPass photographers. It does not include the attraction photos or dining packages like the PhotoPass+.

PhotoPass+ Participating Attractions: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Tower of Terror, Rockin' Rollercoaster, Expedition Everest, Dinosaur

Participating Character Dining Locations: 1900 Park Fare, 'Ohana (Breakfast Only), Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's Royal Table, Tusker House, Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.

Disney PhotoPass+ includes a special PhotoPass+ Card and lanyard, a Galley CD containing over 400 beautiful stock images, Print Packages at select dining locations, and digital copies of select attractions.

Hope this helps you make your decision,

    Amanda F.
