We are going to WDW Oct 8-18 2015. There were many restaurants that we were unable to make an ADR because everything was booked!! My question is: can we stand on queue and wait for a table that day? Thanks!

    Hi there Keith,

Many of the most popular restaurants do fill up very quickly as many guests now use the online dining system to book their spots months in advance.  Walk ups *may be available, but there is no real "queue" for guests with no reservation.  I have had success in the past with showing up with no reservation, but it really depends on the particular location.  It certainly never hurts to ask, and be sure to let the Cast Member on duty know that you are willing to wait in case there is a no-show.  My best advice would be to arrive as early in the morning as possible for breakfast locations, and during "off peak" hours for others.  For example, don't show up at noon for lunch, rather try 10:30 or 11 or perhaps 3:00.

Another tip would be to keep an eye on the online booking system. Plans do change and people go online and make changes to their itineraries all the time!  You could very well luck out by snagging a table that someone else has cancelled!  I always make a point of checking once in the morning and again at night, and I have definitely lucked out a few times!

    Good Luck, Keith,
