We are going to WDW Oct 24-28 and really want to get ADRs at BOG. I noticed that BOG seems to book up as soon as ADRs become available. Can you recommend a strategy for securing one of these? Is it better to call Disney to book rather than online? Thanks!

    Hi Kim!
Disney did a spectacular job in transforming the tiniest details into a living fairytale of this beloved movie and it's not wonder that it has become a highly coveted reservation. If  you are staying at a Disney resort, reservations for your entire trip can be made on April 27thI just made this reservation a few weeks back and here are some tips that I used in order to secure a reservation:
    • Online Reservations open at 6:00 am EST.The morning your dining reservations open for your trip, be ready at the computer to see if you can find an available time.
    • Phone reservations will open at 7:00 am EST, even if you didn't find a reservation online give Disney Dining a call at 407-939-3463 (the were no reservations online, but when I called I was able to secure a reservation).
    • Start calling at 6:59 a.m., the voice prompt will let you know if the reservation line is currently open.  If it is not, hang up and call back immediately until the line is open.
    • As soon as the call goes through and you hear "Which of these dining..." say "make a new reservation." Once the prompt starts to ask you "which restaurant" quickly say "talk to an agent."  If you follow the voice prompts it will do a computerized search for you,but I found that it was faster to directly talk to a cast member.
    • Do not ask for a specific time, just ask for a dinner reservation.
    • Make sure that if you are staying on Disney property that you have your reservation number handy and your credit card.  Be Our Guest does not require prepayment, but it does require a credit card guarantee in case you do not give a 24 hour cancellation notice.
I hope this helps and please let us know if we can answer anymore questions for your upcoming vacation!

    Happy Planning!
