We're going to WDW in Oct 2013 and have purchased tickets to MNSCHP, do adults have to dress up too? Thank you.

Hello Kimberly!  I'm so happy to hear that you have tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!  It is one of my family's most favourite events at Walt Disney World.  One of the things I love about it, is that I get to be a kid again - I can wear a costume and trick-or-treat and no one bats an eye!  You will find that the majority of adults and children are wearing either a costume or a Halloween themed t-shirt or some type of fun hat or mouse ears.  It really is up to you if you'd like to dress up, and you won't feel out of place either way.  While my "costume" is usually more sedate, I really get a kick out of some of the elaborate costumes that some families come up with!

Be sure to make time to see the Boo-To-You parade, which will take place twice each evening of the party, and don't miss the HalloWishes fireworks show - they are really spectacular, with a fun Halloween theme! Also, even though the event officially starts at 7pm, as stated on your ticket, you will be allowed to enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4 pm!  We usually have a nice leisurely day at our resort or Downtown Disney before heading to the park for 4 pm to enjoy the Halloween Party.  This gives you plenty of time to for all of the fun at Magic Kingdom without feeling rushed.

Kimberly, please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any other questions before your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.  I would be happy to help you!  Have a magical day!
