Hi! Going to WDW on OCt 25-NOV 1. My son of 10 yrs is a Lego Lover, can anyone give me info on the Lego store at Downtown Disney? Is there a plaza in front of the store where kids can build their inventions, opening hours, etc? Thanks

Hi Mirielle.   The Lego Imagination Center is a family favorite of ours.    Each time we visit Downtown Disney, we make a stop at this Lego store as my son is a huge collector of anything Lego!

To answer your questions, yes, there is an area in front of the store that allows kids to play with the Legos.    However, if you were considering to purchase an item from the store and begin building right away, I would be cautious to avoid losing pieces or having them mixed up with those that are provided.    In addition to the building area, the store also has a play area for small kids, that includes a slide and playhouse.     Lastly, don't forget to have your pictures taken with the many Lego creations that surround the store.   When showing family, these pictures always get the most attention.

While I don't have specific hours of operations to provide you, I do know for a fact that they are open early in the morning and well into the evening.   We have been to Downtown Disney at both times of the day, and the Lego store is always in full swing.
