Going to WDW in Oct. What are must do dining suggestions? We love chef Mickey and BOG. Have done Cinderella castle, Whispering Canyon, Sci-Fi before. Looking for suggestions in parks, resorts, etc..Thanks!

    Hello Kimberly!

My family focuses more on dining than any other aspect of our trip! My adult children are more likely to ask "When are we going to The Crystal Palace?" then they are to ask about any of the attractions.  Clearly, visiting The Crystal Palace to visit with Pooh and his friends is always at the top of our dining list!  Below are my top five favorite table-service locations around the Walt Disney World Resort.

#5: (Tie): 'Ohana and Kona Cafe, both at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort   Both of these great restaurants bring a Pacific Island flair to a great night out. 'Ohana excels at filling everyone up with endless skewers of fire-grilled meats. And, as for Kona Cafe, at dinner, they serve the most amazing sweet bread with macadamia nut butter. YUM!

#4: Tusker House at Disney's Animal Kingdom  Enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet with the "Big Cheese" Mickey and all his pals!

#3:  50's Prime Time Cafe at Disney's Hollywood Studios  Enjoy some down-home cooking with down-home fun with all your aunts and uncles as they remind you to mind your manners and clean your plate!

#2: Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue  Get ready for some side-splittin' laughs, singing, and fun at this must-do dinner show. It is more than a meal, it is an entire evening of entertainment!

#1: California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort  Excellent food paired with stunning views of the Magic Kingdom makes for a truly magical meal.

I hope this gives you some ideas.  Now, I am hungry!!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne

I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
