Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Kevin ~

I have a son with Cerebral Palsy who uses a stroller as a wheelchair. When you arrive at the first theme park during your visit, go to Guest Relations and request a band that will indicate to Cast Members (CMs) that you will be using the stroller as a wheelchair. This will allow your child to remain in the stroller in queues and in entertainment venues. They will date the band so that you can use it during your stay and you will not have to go back to request another one. Be sure to put it on a handle so that is clearly visible for CMs.

Guests who are unable to wait in a standard queue may request a Disability Access Service Card (DAS) by going to Guest Relations at any of the theme parks. CMs will ask you some questions so they can best accommodate your child's specific needs. They'll take your child's photo for the DAS, go over the terms and conditions with you and have you sign the DAS. Here is some information about how the DAS works.

Here is some information regarding attractions for Guests with Mobility Disabilities including those that allow Guests to remain in their wheelchairs or ECVs, those that require Guests in ECVs to transfer to wheelchairs to board and those that require Guests to be mobile to enjoy.

I've also included a link to a list of Frequently Asked Questions about the DAS .

I'm limited in space but please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
