We are going to WDW in November, the reservations were made for us by someone else. How do I know if the dining plan is included in our reservation or is the reservation is strictly for the room and wrist bands?

    Hi Amanda,

That's a great question! If you do have one of the Disney Dining Plans attached to your reservation, it certainly would be helpful to know that as you're finalizing your plans.

The first thing that comes to mind would be to check your reservation details on My Disney Experience. If you haven't already setup an account on DisneyWorld.com, it'll just take a couple of minutes. (You'll need an account to access the My Disney Experience function within DisneyWorld.com.)

Once you have an account setup on My Disney Experience, you can link your reservation to your account by simply entering the trip's confirmation number. At that point, you should see a whole host of information and options for planning your vacation.

In the event you're not seeing any indication of a Disney Dining Plan, which happens sometimes, I'd recommend calling the My Disney Experience help line at (407) 939-7765. The cast members in that group can lookup the details of your reservation as long as you either have the trip's confirmation number or the e-mail address that was linked to the reservation.

Or, you can always try calling the central reservation office at (407) 934-7639 and asking those cast members to look through the details of your reservation.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

There's a mobile version of My Disney Experience that you can download onto your smartphone, which is an awesome tool for keeping track of, and even changing, your itinerary on the fly. Not only that, but it even has a feature that displays wait times for attractions, shows, and other experiences.

(The only thing it's missing is wait time information for the Turkey Leg Cart in Frontierland! I like to know when I can grab and go.)

I hope that helps and I hope you have an awesome vacation!

    Best regards,
    Derek
