Going to WDW in November and I'm curious about shipping cases of water, toiletries etc to our resort ahead of time...unsure of the parameters? Staying on a friend's club member points, is there a website where I can view things to stock my fridge etc? Thx!

Hi Denise! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. One of the best things about staying at a Disney Vacation Club resort is enjoying all the comforts of home right in your villa.

1, 2 and 3-bedroom villas come equipped with at least 2 bathrooms, a living area, a washer/dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen!  For me there is nothing better than having our groceries stocked in our vacation home and being able to save money by preparing meals. It’s simply perfect.

You're kitchen comes fully equipped with cookware, a complete table setting, flatware, small bottle of dish detergent and sponge, paper towels, dishcloths...all the "hardware" but you'll need to bring your own groceries, spices, condiments and extras to make your meals perfect. Because we travel so much to Disney Vacation Club resorts, I always have my "resort" supply box that we bring on our vacations with all our essentials. I plan my meals ahead of time and bring everything I need to make them. Since we drive to the resort I can pick up frozen or other perishable food items at the local grocery stories right before we arrive. If you're flying you can put a lot of your non-perishable groceries in checked luggage or ship a box directly to the resort ahead of your arrival.

All resorts have a general store/gift shop where you'll find a small assortment of basic necessities so you may find what you need there. Though they're generally a bit pricey. If you're looking for a wider assortment of groceries that can be delivered right to your Walt Disney World Resort, consider Garden Grocer www.GardenGrocer.com  or call them at 1-866-855-4350. There's a $40 order minimum and $14 delivery charge for orders under $200 but it might be more cost effective than shipping.

I hope your upcoming vacation is magical and memorable.
