Going to Wdw in November hoping to get free dining if I do can I upgrade to deluxe dining and just pay the difference? I love the dining plan but am hoping to be able to upgrade. Thanks :)

Hello Angela!  Welcome back to the Moms Panel.  I'm happy to hear you love the Disney Dining Plan - it really makes being able to experience all of the wonderful dining options at Walt Disney World so much more affordable.  What's even better are the free dining promotions!  While there has been nothing announced at this point, and there's no way to know for sure if Disney will offer free dining this year, we can always keep our fingers crossed!  Currently, the cost to upgrade from the Quick Service Dining Plan to the Regular Dining Plan is $18.01 per adult, per night, and $2.85 per child, per night.  If you are wanting to upgrade from Quick Service to Deluxe, the price difference is a bit more substantial at $62.29 per adult, per night or $12.52 per child, per night.  Of course, if you receive the Regular Dining Plan as part of the free dining promotion, it would be a lower cost difference between the two.

Just let your travel agent or Disney Reservations Cast Member know you would like to upgrade when making your vacation booking.  I hope this information is helpful to you, and please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any other vacation planning questions.  Have a magical day!
