Going to WDW in November 2011 for first time & already got our tickets. I have read on site that Typhoon Lagoon is closed Nov 2010 for annual refurb. Will it be the same next yr cos We were looking forward to going to both parks?

Hi Claire!  During the winter months, which is often considered to be November, December, January, and February, the water parks are refurbished.  They try to keep one of the two open at all times so if you come during those months you most likely might find one of the parks down. They use these months since the weather and temperatures are generally a bit cooler and the number of guests using the parks is at their minimum.  Your resort pool will be open so perhaps you can enjoy one day at a water park and another day playing at your resort. There are so many other wonderful things to see and do while you are there that I am sure you won't be disappointed!
