DH & I are going to WDW Nov. 15-18th for 15th anniversary. Wanting to book carriage ride but trying to decide between FW during fireworks at MK or POR. Any suggestions? Already booked MVMCP and Keys to Kingdom Tour. Any other fun ideas for 2 of us?

Hi Staci! I happen to love Fort Wilderness and would definitely suggest you book your carriage ride there. Your timing has to be perfect to actually see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the carriage so I usually suggest an earlier ride and then find a seat on the beach to watch the show. They will pipe in the music so the only thing you will miss is the lower fireworks out from the castle. If you can spend the time stay on the beach and enjoy the Electric Water Parade that will come by with music and lights. Be sure and bring bug spray as some evenings the mosquitos can be hungry. You can purchase that at the general store right at the beach if needed. One more idea to make your Fort Wilderness evening complete is to book the great Hoop Dee Doo Revue dinner show first. It is one of my favorite dining experiences on property. If time check out the Disney stables where all the Magic Kingdom horses as well as Cinderella's ponies live. All of this is within walking distance from the boat launch marina and beach. Happy Anniversary!
