Going to wdw nov 11-18 with 1 1/2 and 7 yr old boys. Is there a list I can find telling me the height requirements for the rides in the parks? Also I have read that I can ship a package to my self at the resort? How far in advance can I do this and how?

    Hi Rajinder,

Awesome questions! The good news is that I think I have some equally awesome answers to share!

As far as your first question goes, the DisneyWorld.com website is constantly being updated with new and improved features that will help you plan your next vacation. One of those features is a function that will allow you to filter the list of attractions that appear on the screen. It just so happens that one of those filters is height requirements for the various attractions!

As far as your second question goes, I'm a huge fan of shipping packages to myself when I'm heading to Walt Disney World. My wife and I have two youngsters, so we ship diapers, wipes, and other care supplies because it's easier to manage and actually less expensive than paying the extra baggage fees from the airlines.

To do this, I would recommend scheduling your delivery for no more than 24 hours before your arrival. To get the address of your resort hotel, just go to DisneyWorld.com, find your resort hotel's page, and then go to the "Resort Overview" tab. On that page, you'll find the address and the phone number that you can use for your package. Just make sure you include the following on the address:

    1) Attn: [Your Name], Guest Arriving On [Your Arrival Date]
    2) Your Resort Confirmation Number

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

With so many online retailers offering free shipping, my wife and I go to those sites to purchase the goods we need for our vacation, and then select the shipping address to be our resort hotel instead of our home. That'll save you a ton of money in shipping fees!

I hope that helps! Please feel free to write back if you should have any additional questions and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
