    We are going to WDW in Nov. and staying at Port Orelans Riverside. I'm not sure if I should make any room requests. I like the look of Magnolia Bend, but I don't want to be too far from the main building. I would also like a riverview. Any suggestions?

    Hi Gina! Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside (POR) is divided into two distinctly themed areas, Alligator Bayou and Magnolia Bend. Alligator Bayou features accommodations in two-story Cajun-styled rustic buildings. Magnolia Bend offers accommodations in two and three story plantation-style Mansions. In Magnolia Bend, Oak Manor Mansion and Parterre Place Mansion are considered to be the most desirable locations due to their proximity to Boatwright's Dining Hall, Ol' Man Island (main pool area), the resort's lobby, and a bus stop. You may review a map of POR here in order to determine your preference. Please contact (407) 939-7675, but keep in mind that Disney does not guarantee room requests. Be sure to give the Cast Member your Resort Confirmation Number and specify you would like a river view room in any of these locations. The Cast Member will make a note of the request on your Reservation. Your family will absolutely love staying at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside.
