We are going to be at WDW from Nov10-13, 2010 (before setting sail on a cruise). My son will be turning 6 on the 22nd. Will WDW still recognize his birthday, and let us celebrate even though it's not his "real" birthday?

    Hi Jennifer!

Happy Birthday to your little pirate!  While he will not be able to get into Disney World free except for on the 22nd, he can absolutely celebrate his birthday!   If you are celebrating, then so is Disney!  Be sure to pick up a birthday pin for him at any Guest Services desk, to sport throughout his trip - you will be surprised how many well wishes he will receive.  Also, great cakes are available without advanced notice at most table service restaurants, simply let the host know at the podium.  Of course you can also order a custom cake creation by calling the cake hotline at 1-407-827-2253.  These extra special cakes require 48 hours advanced notice.  Without a doubt, have him "Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it!" in the afternoon parade at the Magic Kingdom - a parade dedicated to celebrations.  Have soooo much fun on your vacation and cruise!

    Much pixie dust,
